Coventry City seal dramatic FA Cup semi-final spot with last-gasp winner!

Coventry City pulled off a stunning comeback against Wolverhampton Wanderers, securing a place in the FA Cup semi-finals for only the second time in their history.

“A great occasion, the fans have been amazing and we’re just delighted,” said Ellis Simms, who scored twice for Coventry, including a crucial equaliser in the seventh minute of injury time. “We want to go all the way,” he declared, setting his sights on lifting the trophy.

Championship Shocks Premier League

The Championship side found themselves behind after Wolves clawed their way back from a 1-0 deficit with goals in the 83rd and 88th minutes. However, Coventry refused to give up. Simms’ dramatic late double, coupled with a winning goal from Haji Wright in the 10th minute of added time, sent the Coventry faithful into raptures.

“There’s a lot of quality in our side and as long as we believe and keep trying, we can take our chances,” said Wright, echoing Simms’ belief in the team.
