Tinubu applauds Ijeoma Uchegbu’s elevation as President of Wolfson College, University of Cambridge

President Bola Tinubu extended warm congratulations to Ijeoma Uchegbu, a distinguished Nigerian Professor of Pharmaceutical Nanoscience, on her recent appointment as President of Wolfson College at the University of Cambridge. According to Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, the President hailed Uchegbu’s remarkable achievements and praised her as a stellar representative of Nigeria on the global stage.

Tinubu lauded Uchegbu as an embodiment of the exceptional ingenuity, brilliance, and hard work characterising the Nigerian people, both domestically and internationally. He specifically highlighted her unwavering dedication to advancing the frontiers of pharmaceutical science, showcasing her relentless pursuit of excellence.

“Professor Uchegbu’s elevation is a testament to her exceptional dedication and the heights of excellence she has achieved in her field,” Ngelale quoted President Tinubu as saying. Tinubu also expressed well wishes for Uchegbu’s continued success in this pivotal role.

Furthermore, Tinubu reiterated his administration’s commitment to establishing a robust interface that fosters connections, encourages investment opportunities, and bolsters ties with Nigerians in the diaspora, aligning with his ‘4D Foreign Policy’ vision.
