Sterling Bank secures top spot as best workplace in Nigeria, reaffirms commitment to employee wellness

Sterling Bank Limited, a leading financial institution in Nigeria, has clinched the prestigious title of the 2022 Overall Best Workplace in Nigeria, affirming its consecutive win in the large corporate category awards hosted by Great Place to Work (GPTW).

This year marks Sterling Bank’s continuous triumph in claiming the overall best workplace award by GPTW since 2020.

The bank secured multiple accolades, emerging as the Best Place to Work in the large corporate category. Additionally, it was recognised for its excellence in Promoting People Leadership Practices and Promoting Corporate Social Responsibility Initiatives within the large corporate sphere.

Chairman of Sterling Bank, Mr. Asue Ighodalo, underscored the significance of creating an inclusive environment conducive to sustained growth, stating, “Now, more than ever in the life of our country, we must create an environment that enables an inclusive and consistent growth rate of over seven per cent year-on-year to emerge from our present economic and social predicament.”

Expressing his belief in private sector-led growth, Ighodalo emphasised the pivotal role of visionary, dedicated individuals in driving the economy, stating, “Rising at dawn and working till dusk each day, are the men and women who drive these organisations.”
