Senator Oluremi Tinubu has enjoined Christians to embody the teachings of Jesus in speech, conduct and relationship with people.
Tinubu, who represents the Lagos Central Senatorial District, said Christians while keeping the faith should exemplify Jesus Christ, “our perfect example and role model.”
“More than ever, we must bring to bear on our outlook on life and our Nation Nigeria, regardless of what the situation around us may be and how things may seem, that despair is not an option.” she said.
In her Easter message to her constituents, Senator Tinubu, asked them to be considerate of others through the ravages of the COVID-19 pandemic.
She said, “As the pandemic rages on, we must continue to take precautions and adhere to laid down guidelines for our safety. In this case, a good way to show kindness and consideration for others is to ensure that you wear your mask and observe social and physical distancing even if you have been vaccinated. You must be mindful of the safety of others.”
Tinubu called on Christians to live peaceably with each other.
“It is my sincere wish and hope that we all live peaceably with all men as we have been commanded, radiating the love and mercy that we have so freely received.” She concluded.
