Lagos State has finally gone over the 1000 mark in the number of confirmed COVID19 cases with the NCDC announcing a total number of confirmed cases in Lagos at 1062.
This is, however, not indicative of the success the Lagos State Ministry of Health has recorded so far in stemming the tide of the COVID19 plague in the state.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, a total of 247 patients have been treated and discharged with 22 patients discharged on Saturday alone.
LSMOH announced through its official Twitter handle that of the 22 discharged on Saturday, 19 were discharged from LUTH, two from IDH, Yaba, and one from the Lekki Isolation Centre.
The NCDC through its Twitter handle announced that Lagos recorded 62 new cases on Saturday.
The total number of confirmed cases nationwide now stands at 2388 with 385 discharged cases and 85 deaths.
