Senator Oluremi Tinubu has offered prayers for health workers and all essential workers while charging constituents to “continue to be strong in the Lord and the power of His might”
In a statement released Wednesday evening, Senator Tinubu, who is also an ordained minister with the Redeemed Christian Church of God, empathising with the pains and discomforts experienced by constituents as a result of the COVID-19 lockdown assured, “We will continue to do our part to prevent further spread of COVID-19.”
Offering words of comfort, she announced that her office had concluded arrangements for the distribution of food items received from the Lagos State Government across the LGAs and LCDAs in the Lagos Central Senatorial District.
To ensure effectiveness, she said that her office had identified and obtained details of the vulnerable in each zone of the District, for the distribution of relief materials.
She concluded:
“Please continue to be strong in the Lord and the power of His might (Eph 6:10).”
She shared a prayer for medical personnel and persons providing essential services from YouVersion which read:
“Father, thank you for those caring for and serving our communities. Thank you for servant leaders who daily risk their health and safety for others.
Please protect them, Lord. Give them courage and strength, and let them feel Your presence as they are working.
Provide all that they need to serve others, and provide for their loved ones. Send people to help and support them and their families.
You said we have troubles, but You have overcome this world. Please work together with our frontliners to bring about the best possible outcome.”
