Chef jailed 28 years for lawyer’s murder after guilty plea

A 23-year-old chef on Tuesday entered a plea bargain, pleaded guilty to murder and escaped the hangman’s noose. Instead, an Ikeja Special Offences Court sentenced a 23-year-old chef, Joshua Usulor, to 28 years imprisonment for killing a 34-year-old lawyer, Mrs Feyisayo Obot.
