President Tinubu congratulates Otunba Adekunle Ojora and Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala on their birthdays

President Bola Tinubu extended heartfelt congratulations to Otunba Adekunle Ojora on his 92nd birthday and to Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Director-General of the World Trade Organisation, on her 70th birthday.

Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, issued a statement on Thursday, emphasising President Tinubu’s celebration of both distinguished individuals. In his message to Otunba Ojora, Tinubu praised the renowned businessman for his significant contributions to Nigeria’s economic development and his encouragement of indigenous participation in critical economic sectors. “The President salutes the elder statesman, recalling his contributions to advancing the economic wellbeing of the nation through enterprise development,” the statement read. Tinubu also commended Ojora’s statesmanship, life of service, and wisdom, and wished him many more years in excellent health.

Similarly, President Tinubu lauded Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala for her remarkable leadership and service to the nation, particularly in her role as the former Minister of Finance and her current position as the Director-General of the World Trade Organisation. “The President extols the former Minister of Finance for her service to the nation and efforts towards building resilient institutions,” the statement noted. Tinubu also praised Okonjo-Iweala for being a worthy ambassador of Nigeria, highlighting her grit, diligence, and brilliance. He extended his best wishes for her continued good health and success.
