In a display of excellence and legal prowess, the students of the Faculty of Law at the University of Calabar (UNICAL) have made their mark on the international stage, earning a top-five finish at the prestigious 2023 Manfred Rachs Space Law International Competition in Banku, Azerbaijan.
This remarkable achievement was attained in a competition that witnessed participation from 77 law faculties across universities worldwide. UNICAL’s Faculty of Law not only secured a place among the top contenders but also stood out as the sole representative from Africa to qualify for the event.
The competition, held under the auspices of the International Court of Justice (ICJ), saw the UNICAL team compete against some of the brightest legal minds from around the globe. Their success reflects the dedication and commitment of UNICAL’s law students and faculty members.
