On Tuesday, the Nigerian naira demonstrated a notable appreciation against the US dollar, as it reached an exchange rate of N744.97 at the Investors and Exporters window.
This represented a positive increase of 0.39 per cent when compared to the N747.87 per dollar rate observed on Monday.
The open indicative rate concluded at N774.99 for each dollar on Tuesday.
Throughout the day’s trading, the naira exhibited a range, with the highest spot exchange rate reaching N799.83 against the dollar before eventually settling at N744.97.
Conversely, the naira also experienced trading as low as N588 to the dollar during the same trading session.
In total, transactions amounting to 63.60 million US dollars were conducted at the investors and exporters window on Tuesday.
