Mr. Joe Ejiofor, the Head of Public Relations at YABATECH, has issued guidance to freshmen students, urging them to refrain from attending night parties following their matriculation.
In a statement on Thursday in Lagos, Ejiofor emphasised that such gatherings could potentially expose newly admitted students to uncertain circumstances that could jeopardise their safety.
The Public Relations Officer highlighted that the college’s management prioritises the safety and academic advancement of all students.
“As a testament to the college’s commitment to your well-being and academic success, I would like to draw your attention to a crucial matter concerning late-night matriculation parties.
“While we understand that university life offers various opportunities for socialising and forming connections, we must also underscore the potential risks associated with attending parties during unconventional hours.
“Consequently, we strongly advise, in your own best interest, that you refrain from participating in any night parties scheduled after the matriculation ceremony,” he emphasised.
