Rangers International sign 3 new players in NPFL

Three new players have joined the Enugu-based Rangers International Football Club in order to strengthen their second-round 2022/2023 Nigeria Professional Football League campaign (NPFL).

Norbert Okolie, the club’s media officer, told reporters in Enugu on Monday that this was a sign the team was prepared for the rest of the season.

Austin Osayande, Leonard Ugochukwu, and Chinecherem Ugwueze were listed by Okolie as the new players.

On March 15, Rangers will travel to Rivers United FC, the current champions, in a matchup from Group B Match Day 8.

The Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt will host the game.

The club was excited about the game, the media officer stated, and the players had joined other players in training.

“It is a thing of joy for us to have the three players join our ranks to help us achieve our set target for the season.

“With the approval of the coaching crew, we went for the players and it is our hope and belief they are coming with the needed skills.
