Tion Wayne, Nigerian-British rapper, others thrill Lagos fun-seekers at Christmas concert

Numerous fun-seekers were enthralled by Nigerian-British rapper Tion Wayne and other performers at the eagerly awaited Beat FM 99.9 Christmas Concert hosted at the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos.

There were visitors from all walks of life present for the celebration, which got underway around nine o’clock on Wednesday night.

The evening’s performances by international and Nigerian music stars were pure entertainment.

The live performances from artists including the British performers – Junior Choi, Amaria BB, and Tion Wayne thrilled the party goers.

Singers including Lade, Guchi, Eltee Skills, and Crayon electrified the audience with their well-known songs earlier in the concert.

Lojay, Oxlade, L.A.X, and Pheelz, four Nigerian performers, helped to make the Beat FM Christmas event very exciting.

Fun-seekers at the performance also discussed their memories of the occasion this year.

The event was fantastic, according to Mrs. Adeyinka Akilla, who attended with her kids. She praised the organisers for a job well done.

Akilla claimed that she enjoyed spending time with her family at the concert.

“I have been looking forward to this season. It is the only period I have a nice time with my family members and relations because of my busy work schedule.

Mr. Taiwo Alalade, said he came to the concert to ease his emotional burdens.

“I’m just a regular person who comes to the Beat FM 99.9 concert to have fun and enjoy myself with my loved ones,” he said.

The event, according to the station’s programme director, Mr. Osi Dirisu, was organised over the years as a way to show appreciation to its devoted listeners and throngs of followers.

“The concert is famed for parading an array of the best local and international stars and has earned a reputation as the most anticipated yuletide concert in Lagos,” he said.

Following a hiatus caused by the Covid-19 outbreak, the Beat FM Christmas concert is back this year.
