According to reports, a building on Adeola Odeku in Victoria Island, Lagos, was completely destroyed by fire on Tuesday, November 1.
According to sources, a generator explosion that happened in the early morning hours is said to be what started the fire.
According to eyewitness accounts, a car with three occupants that was parked extremely close to the structure where the explosion occurred caught fire.
Even though no one knows how many people died, the explosion did a lot of damage to nearby buildings and cars.
Nosa Okunbor, a spokesman for the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), confirmed the event and said that representatives of the agency are already at the scene.
He added that emergency workers were attempting to put out the fire and that the agency is keeping an eye on the situation.
LASEMA also confirmed that a Rapid Response Squad (RRS) car was hit outside the building while it was patrolling Adeola Odeku.
Representatives of the Lagos State Fire Service confirmed that they were on the scene and battling the fire.
