13 ships laden with petroleum products and others are waiting to berth at the ports in Lagos, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said on Thursday.
NPA in its ”Daily Shipping Position” listed the products in the ships as: general cargo, bulk wheat, petrol, bulk urea, bulk sugar and bulk gypsum.
It said that another 20 ships at the ports were discharging petrol, bulk wheat, general cargo, container, bulk sugar, bulk clinker, frozen fish, butane gas, automobile gasoline and bulk urea.
25 other ships also laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected from July 21 to July 31.
The authority said the ships are expected to arrive at the Lagos Port Complex.
It indicated that the ships contain general cargo, frozen fish, bulk sugar, container, bulk gypsum, automobile gasoline, bulk steam coal, petrol, base oil, jet fuel and bulk fertilizer.
