Fountain of Life Church has announced the death of their Senior Pastor’s Wife, Pastor Nomthi Odukoya.
The church made the announcement in a statement they posted on their social media platforms.
According to the statement, Pastor Nomthi Odukoya died from a cancer she had been battling in the last two years.
“She battled cancer for the better part of two years, she stood on the word of God, and she fought.”
“We love her with all our heart, but who are we to fight with the will of God.
The truth is, at one point in our lives, we all need to say goodbye. So, for now, till we meet again in glory, Goodbye Pastor Nomthi,” The church said in the statement.
The Senior Pastor, Taiwo Odukoya also announced the passing of his wife.
Pastor Nomthi Odukoya is the second wife of Pastor Taiwo Odukoya who is founder of the Fountain of Life Church.
Until her death, she served as Associate Senior Pastor of The Fountain of Life Church and assisted the senior pastor in the day to day running and management of the 10,000-member church.
Pastor Nomthi married Pastor Taiwo Odukoya in January 2010 after he lost his first wife, Pastor Bimbo Odukoya, in a plane crash on December 10, 2005.
They were married for 11 years and had two children together.
She will be the second spouse that Pastor Taiwo Odukoya will lose.
Her death has come as a shock to many people, and they have offered their condolences.
