Ifako Bridge outer third mainland, Ogudu, Lagos, was the scene of a vehicle fire that the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service had to put out.
A commercial 14-seater Volkswagen bus and a BRT bus were involved in an accident that resulted in a fire on Wednesday at 9:33 a.m., prompting the deployment of firefighters from Alausa.
An adult male was found and turned over to the police by Ogudu Division after operational firefighting began.
While the BRT and his helper escaped with minor injuries, the commercial bus driver was killed in his vehicle.

The remaining vehicles are being removed from the motorway, and in the meantime, men from the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority are controlling the flow of traffic.
