On Aug 31, Brymo tweeted ” in a cry for help” that he would love to work with the award-winning performer Asa, and to his utmost surprise, three hours later, she agreed to the collaboration.
Responding elatedly, he tweeted: “Yes!!.. đź’šđź’šđź’š”
Ọláwálé Ibrahim Ashimi, stage name Brymo, a Yoruba and English singer, songwriter, author and actor/stage performer, who is either in the news for the good or the unbelievable.
His music is a blend of fuji, R&B, pop and rock.
Brymo has always had a passion for music, with his debut album in 2007 which was him testing his wings in the industry.
He got signed on to the Chocolate City record label in 2010 where he released “The Son of a Kapenta” in 2012 and hit singles like Ara, Good Morning, Go Hard amongst others, but the deal went sour in 2013, notwithstanding, he has 11 solid albums under his belt alongside his numerous hit singles, features, compilation and live albums.
Albums such as “The son of a kapenta (2012), Merchants, Dealers & Slaves (2013), Klitoris (2016), Oso (2018) Yellow (2020), to name a few and his most recent album, “Theta” which was released May 2022.
One thing about Brymo and his fans is the fact to, his songs are ageless.

The Nigerian-French sensation released her latest album “V” this year.

Travelling the world and sharing the goodness that is her musical endowments with fans who obviously cannot get enough of her.
Fun fact: both artists are not just vocally blessed, they are born performers who also play similar instruments, the keyboard and guitar.
