Lagos Metropolitan confirms that it spoke to a relative of the deceased who offered the information surrounding the circumstance of Folorunsho’s death and could not have reported otherwise.

We wish to emphasise that we are bound by the highest ethical standards of the journalistic profession and would never be involved in any form of speculation or mischief.

Until proven otherwise, we are bound by our previous publication.

May we add that we hold the management of St. Nicholas Hospital in the highest regard and would not deign to enter into any undue contest with them over this issue.

We are, ourselves, carrying out more thorough investigations on the matter,
